Below is an unofficial list of coaching records for Wyoming high school basketball coaches. Please note that these records are an in-progress search! As we find more records, we will update them here. Records encompass both boys and girls coaches, but totals include in-state records only.

Dianne Moser, 718-212, Tongue River girls 1976-2015.

Okie Blanchard, 718 wins, Glenrock boys 1926, Cokeville boys 1927-29, Rock Springs boys 1930-37, Natrona boys 1938-40, Cheyenne Central boys 1943-58, Hillsdale boys 1969. Blanchard had 706 victories upon retiring in 1958 and had between five and 12 wins with Hillsdale in 1968-69 coming out of retirement… Various sources have him with 126 or 127 losses prior to the Hillsdale season. He is listed here with the largest cited number of victories for Hillsdale in 1969 (12) added to his total.

Aleta Moss, 699-248, Wyoming Indian girls 1989-present.

Briant Teichert, 647-264, Cokeville girls 1983-2021.

Jerry Patrick, 622-224, Burlington girls 1979-2014, Burlington boys 1984. Patrick’s record was what he cited upon retirement. Current records on this site indicate a career record of 626-235.

Mike Curry, 605-152, Gillette boys 1984-2013.

More than 500 victories

Bob Doerr, 535-297, Lyman boys 1955-62 (124-77); Byron boys 1963-83 (350-123); Rocky Mountain boys 1984-86 (33-32); Rocky Mountain girls 1984-88 (28-65)

Rich Murray, 512-287, St. Mary’s girls 1978-81; St. Mary’s boys 1982-87; Lusk boys 1988-97 and 2001-16. The St. Mary’s girls record from 1981 is not part of this tally.

Jodi Stanley, 508-305, Snake River girls 1986-2021. Stanley’s totals include two seasons, 1986 and 1992, where records for Snake River are not yet available.
